How do i turn my red hair blond again without going to the hair dressers?

I have that Christina Aguilera look from 3 years ago with the red underneath with blonde on top. I am so so over it but I dont want to cut the red out cos I'm trying to grow my hair. How do I get it to look the same as the blond on top without making it yellow. Can this be done? I don't want to ruin my hair but i'm so over the two toned look I just want to be all blonde again. I'm also on a budget I can't really afford to go to a hair dressers at the moment, so what can I do?How do i turn my red hair blond again without going to the hair dressers?

well you can use an on-the-scalp bleach and then tone it! But that all depends on how light you want it and what you want it to look like when you are done! you also have to be careful because people who try it on there own process it to long then it is damaged beyond repair or it falls out!

So, you are a redhead, eh? I am a redhead, also, and have trouble with the red wanting to be orange. How about going to you local cosmetology college? I do that here and wash, cut, color and style is only $15...a full $70 cheaper than my favorite salon.
