umm it depends on what you get done but like when i get a dye and cut i usually tip about $5 because your already paying like what $60 and they get a fair share of thatQuestion 4 all hair dressers!!!! How much do we need to tip you people???
double what the cut costQuestion 4 all hair dressers!!!! How much do we need to tip you people???
i tip mine 20% and he seems happy with that. i think thats a good standard for most tipping.
Give me all your wallet and we`ll be fine!
I never understood why they must be given a tip @ all..It takes 20-30 min to give a haircut and @ $20.00 a haircut that comes to $40.00-$60.00 an hour..I am a nurse in the business of saving lives and have never made that amount in an hour..I do tip because it is expected of me.
none especially if we fcuk it up!
First of all, do not EVER assume we are getting the money you pay for your service. Some hairstylists are paid hourly, and are paid the same no matter what services they do, and some are paid on commission, in which case they get a certain percentage of each service they provide.
No matter what your stylist is actually paid by the salon, your tip should be at LEAST 15% of the total services, 20% if you are happy with the outcome, and by all means, more if you feel so inclined!
I for one live off my tips and try to scrimp and save the little that comes in my paycheck into savings. To think that if I do four $20.00 services in an hour, that I am making $80.00 dollars an hour is just ignorant and untrue.
A good tip is always appreciated and can be beneficial to you as well. If a hairstylist is not being tipped well enough at a salon, he/she may move on to another salon where the tips are better. Tipping can help prevent a good stylist that you like from leaving the salon you go to!
Bottom line: If you're not tipping as much as you would tip a waiter, you're not tipping enough.
I am not a hair dresser, but a tip shouls be at least 25% on hair
Some client is generous, some don't, but it should be 15% of the total services.
A tip for anything is 10- 12% for decent service... 15-20% for a job well done. I suggest, if your going back to give generously since next time the scissors may slip.
