Please read the whole thing before you make your assumption,
I gave my hair dresser a 50% tip. It cost 50 bucks and i gaver her a 25 dollar tip. The reasonn i did this is because she is really really cheap! I have long thick wavy/curly hair and i had it highlighted and cut which took about 2 hours. Any where else (and i have gone to many places)m the next cheapest was 90 bucks. Some places wanted 110 +.
Also, the first time i went, she cut my hair for 60 bucks, but today i told her i worked with autistic kids then she said oh my grandson is autistic and the price ended up going down 10 dollars
was i out of place to do this? i am not worried about the money at all but my mom said i was so wrong doing this.Do you think i tipped my hair dresser too much?
I don't see that it was wrong to do it because she did cut you a deal but she may expect you to tip her like that the next time.Do you think i tipped my hair dresser too much?
yeah thats way too much u should of just giving her 10 with the tip u gave her is like spending the other amount they were trying to charge you?
Well yea who actually tips their hairdreesers anyway! i never tip! thats for restaurants lmao
look at it this way: would you have tipped $15 on the original price? If so, you spent the same amount of money. Either way, you got excellent service, and tipped accordingly. The Chinese restaurant I used to go to would sometimes throw in a free order of soup because I tipped on a regular basis, even on takeout. The next time you go to her, you're going to be treated like a princess.
