ive bleached my hair white blonde about a month ago, and
i was dying my roots(but my aunt got it on the rest of my hair)ash blonde yesterday,
i got out of the shower and it was grey!
my roots were like orangy yellow and the rest of my head is grey!
some of it is white but most of it is blonde.

Get to a salon and have a stylist do a color correction on your hair,this is your best bet!
