How do I style my hair the way my hair dresser intended it to look?

I got my hair cut yesterday and yesterday it looked like this:

Now today I'm having issues syling it. It takes me about an hour and I'm sure there must be a faster way!

Plus, when I get my hair wet, gel the back and hairspray it, my hair goes curly (it's naturally curly). so now instead of it being spiky, it looks like a perm on the back of my head!

Help! How do I style my hair the way my hair dresser intended it to look?
If it were me, I would get a straightener and take sections and straighten them the direction I wanted them to fall (after blow-drying it straight). I wouldn't use gel in naturally curly hair if you don't want curls, I would stick with plain old hairspray. How do I style my hair the way my hair dresser intended it to look?
Call her back or drop in and get her to show you again. They usually will show you no problem or walk you through over the phone. It may be the way you are blow drying it. You may need the STRAIGHTENER then product after....
I think your hair is cute %26lt;3

but i would ask your hair dresser about it and she or he will usually have a product and some tips on how you can get the same style and how you can stop your little curly head thing......

hahaha

good luck :)
its your hairs way of telling you it doesnt wanna look like that ****.

but seriously, when its wet, wear a tight hat like a beanie or something until its dry, then gel it
straighten it
