Help with describing the way i want my hair to my hair dresser?

okay so im getting my hair cut in a few days like this

but a bit longer. when she asks me how i want it, how would i describe it? like the layers and the bangs and length and stuff. be specific!Help with describing the way i want my hair to my hair dresser?
The best way for a stylist to cut your hair is to show her the picture. Most people are visual so showing them is the easiest way and they can understand what you want better.

bring the picture, if she can't figure out how the hair is styled here it is:


layers are same size as bangs, the bottom layer of hair is layered but


not to heavily, i'm guessing. side bangs, tell her where you want the bangs


like right or left how far to the left or right. tell her how long you want the


hair.
Tell her that you want a haircut that comes just above the shoulders, layers all over, and that you want side bangs. It's pretty simple actually.


The easiest way is just to take the picture with you.

Print out the picture and bring it with you so she can see it herself. It often helps the hairdressers if they have a visual. That way, the both of you have the same picture in mind. =]


And just tell her the changes you would like to be done (ie: you want it longer).
