I have really dark brown hair so if i dye my hair the colours are hard to see, but i want to dye my hair light brown, but with out having to go to the hair dressers...How can i dye my hair light brown if my hair is really dark brown without going to the hair dresser ?

OK now if your hair is really dark you might want to buy the dye 2 tones lighter than the color you want to achieve, and note that your hair will get lighter after every wash. Good luck!
Go to the supermarket etc. and get a home dye kit. You'll probably need to get a friend to help you as its your first time doing it.
Get one of those boxes of hair dye and try it yourself. My mom does that every month or so.
