Sorry to tell you this but you really need a great face to carry off this cut. Look at the girls who have it, they are gorgeous. There arent many people who can carry off this style and i'm afraid to say you arent one of them.
I think the second one is nicest of the 2, but the decision at the end is yours and yours alone, but yes i think either style would suit you.
personally, i think that you should get another haircut like the one in the picture.....

ask the hair dresser to leave a little more around your face though.

No don't get short hair! my gf keeps telling me she wants it short like that but trust me girls suit it better long, leave the short hair to us guts
