Does having my hair thinned in the hair dresser's cause damage.?

When i have a trim i have it thinned. My hair is thick and just works better when its thinned. The hair dresser usually cuts into the length but in the past i've had thinning scissors and a razor once. Can this damage my hair or cause split end and dryness?Does having my hair thinned in the hair dresser's cause damage.?
no not at all coz you are cutting hair off to thin it.Does having my hair thinned in the hair dresser's cause damage.?
no. the thinning scissors obviously just thin the hair- i don't really understand the razor- unless your hair is short. split ends only appear when the hair becomes dry and damaged- this is often caused by heat(hairdryer, straighteners etc) but thinning the hair doesn't cause this.

hope i helped

I got my hair chemically relaxed a year ago, and it's growing in straighter than it used to be. I suggest doing that instead of getting it thinned every time you get a cut. Chemical relaxers are a little expensive, and it won't be damaging if you take care of your hair right. It's a good investment to make.
Completely the opposite. Having your hair thinned will help remove existing split ends and damage. If you're concerned try some conditioning masks. That should help with any concerns you have.
No it won't damage it in any way.
YES.
