How do I describe this hairstyle to my hair dresser?

More specifically, like, what kind of fringe I should get (side swept, side frame, I dunno) and how the layers are done, the spikes towards the back... I am bad at describing hairstyles lol.

Thanks lol, if anyone has gotten these kinds of hairstyles before it would help, I tried getting it twice and it always turned out different, so thanks again and whoever gives me a good answer rocks.

Thanks lol, I know nothing about specific hairstyles,How do I describe this hairstyle to my hair dresser?
Just print out one of those pictures and show it to your hairdresser (:

That's what I always do. The best way to describe something, is to show it. :)

I think you should get a long side swept fringe. As for the spikes, all you need to do is backcomb your hair, which is basically combing your hair in the opposite direction of the way that it grows. That didn't make much sense :/ Google it if you don't understand :L

Hope I helped :)

Answer mine please?

Completely agree with Taffy Rains comment. Print pictures of cuts and colors you like and take them to your stylist. But if you say ';I want my hair like this'; Then their just going to wing it. You need to explain exactly what you want from the photo. Including layers and bangs. I have the typical ';scene hair style'; that your looking for. I use Aussie moisture shampoo and volume conditioner. To spike the back layers I suggest watching youtube videos. The best hairsprays Ive used are Aussie and TRESemme. Both of them get the maximum hold you can find. But Im running low on the shampoo and conditioner and am going to try a designer brand. Peter Lamas Rice. I havent read a bad review about the product and received the whole set for Christmas. So this Saturday Im getting my hair done. I got to Regis salon at a local mall. Their cuts are cheap for only $35 but Im not sure how much it is for color.

I hope this helped you on your quest to obtaing the ';in style'; hair. = )
