Most of these examples are weaves, but you can get the same texture in braiding hair. I'm doing this to my hair next week, I can't wait for the change. It's human hair, so if you're not willing to spend that money (we can't always) I suggest Deep Twist by Freestress (http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31 It's a lovely curl, I did this style a few hairstyles back. lol.
