My hair dresser in relation to my bleached hair?

so ive been bleaching my hair for about 18 months now, we have a man that comes round to our house to do it every month or so.

Ive been wanting to go absolute platinum blonde (nearly white)for a year now and everytime it gets a little bit and a little bit more blonder and it does look unnatural now.

After what must of been about 12 sessions using bleach with foil (and what must have been about 拢240 spent altoghter) should i have what i want by now?

I was a natural dirty blonde before i even started bleaching and i tell him every time i want it absolute platinum

He says its impossible to go that blonde in one session, but after seeing my best friend go platinum blonde from black in a week im starting to highly doubt it.My hair dresser in relation to my bleached hair?
I have never seen anyone go white blonde in one session even if they have naturally light hair. The reason being the amount of damage that is likely to occur. Going platinum blonde is damaging no matter if you do it over time or in one step. However it's almost impossible to answer your question without being able to look at your hair. I would say 12 sessions seems like alot but without being able to see your hair for myself I can't be certain. There are a bunch of factors to consider when going that blonde. Things like how damaged your hair is, how much red is in the underlying pigment in your hair, how resistant your hair is, the porosity or your hair any medications you take or have taken, the products you use, how you take care of your hair and a ton of other factors. Just because something worked for your friend does not mean it will work for you. If you don't like what this guy is telling you i would suggest seeking out a second opinion. You can go and get a consultation from another stylist or more than one. Look around and try to find someone who specializes in color and color corrections. Then bring pictures of exactly what you want and be very honest about what you have done to your hair so they can provide you with accurate information. Also i would strongly advise against doing anything at home you will almost certainly end up with extremely damaged hair and possibly without hair at all.My hair dresser in relation to my bleached hair?
It is possible, but it is damaging to your hair. Well, its damaging in any case, because you are destroying your hair with the bleach, but he may be just trying to give your hair a chance to recover from each session. However, if you started out dirty blonde, I should think that by now (after 12 sessions) it should be just about as light as it can go, and you should be only having to do your roots. I think I'd tell him its all or nothing this next time, or find someone else altogether.
your hair dresser is totally scamming you. if bleached the right way, black hair can go to platinum in one treatment. he may have to tone it after he bleaches it but that would still be a same-day treatment. your getting ripped off. to keep bleaching your hair like that really isn't good for it. just go to someone else before he bleaches all your hair off.
I believe it's very possible. I had dark brown hair and bleached it very blonde in one sitting without a lot of damage. I did need to use a lot of toner to keep the yellow out but yes I think you are definitely being jerked around.
Seems like you answered your own question... You should do whatever your friend did.
Maybe he's trying to not let your hair get too damaged and fall out! Going that light is horrible and NEVER looks good!
