My hair dresser screwed up my bangs!?

She basically butchered them! I wanted side bangs like this::

But she's like Oh yeah sweetie I can do that! But then she cut them WAYYY too short, and styled them weird. I hate them. My mom's not being supportive, and I don't know what to do. I can't wear hats in school, and I look bad with them pulled back. How long do bangs take to grow???My hair dresser screwed up my bangs!?
We can't really tell you how long it will take for them to grow back..

But you can try a headband, or pin then up like the other girl said..

Or style/straighten them downwards instead of sideways, like regular bangs.

the SAME thing happened to me!

my friend does a better job cutting them for me, seriously..

lol, as bad as it seems let them grow the way they are now. use a headband or clip them back even if doesn't look right :/ in a few weeks the effect is gonna be like the image you linked. promise :)
That's happened to me too, I just pinned my bangs back or else I pulled them back with a cute elastic headband.

You really just have to endure it for a while, they'll eventually grow back. Don't worry, we've all been through it hun.

hair grows about a half an inch a month :/ lemme put it this way....my bangs were at my eyebrows in june...ive been growing them out and now they are at the bottom of my lip...its been about 7 months. btw i took a screen shot of tht hairstyle u showed....I LOVE IT
Why don't you just pin them back with a hairclip or a pin? Like this
