I complained to a hair dresser about bad service and now she wants to call me to discuss...?

Is this necessary or should my detailed email listing everything be sufficient??? I asked for a refund... and to me that is a simple yes or no answer.... Opinions welcome!!I complained to a hair dresser about bad service and now she wants to call me to discuss...?
most hair dressers regard emails like post-its. once read, they are discarded. they are not taken seriously. always talk to the stylist in person. even if she wants to discuss over the phone, don't! you will lose your power that way. explain in person with a hard copy of your complaints.

also, when you receive your refund, ask her to sign your sheet of complaints. this way, if she decides to make the situation a legal matter, you would have concrete proof.I complained to a hair dresser about bad service and now she wants to call me to discuss...?
She just wants to see if she can do anything to fix it. She doesn't want to lose a customer and by doing this, you help her better understand what she did wrong so it won't happen in the future. E-mailing isn't the best, usually, people don't pay much attention to them. What I would do is either talk to her and tell her what went wrong, or talk to her face-to-face. If she better understands it, I bet you'll get that refund.
I would go and talk to her because she will get how your feeling in person better then you can express in an e-mail. If you don't talk to her she might do the same thing to someone else. If it were me i would like the person to come talk to me so i don't make the same mistake again.
You'll never know until you give her the opportunity to discuss the matter.

Just because she wants to talk doesn't mean it's a bad thing and if you're polite and discuss it, you may well get that refund that you feel you deserve.
It would be better to talk at least over the phone, if not face to face. She probably just wants to hear what you have to say and get your point of view and figure out what she can do to make it better. Email is pretty impersonal.
well i think u should talk to her about it face to face and now she can learn from her mistakes and become a better hair dresser so ur helping her out and saving other peoples hair before she does the same
I think you can go to see her. Maybe she can do something to make you hair better.
Maybe she wants to see if there is anything she can do to fix your hair.
she probably wants to talk with you to see what she did wrong or wants to see if she can fix it
