oh, just tell him or her that you want to look exactly like everyone else. i have to cut this style everyday, and that's usually what i expect them to say.I want this sce haircut,but dont know how to tell the hair dresser?
hun is u try to explain it the chances are u wont get it right, most ppl cant really explain a hair cut the only way to make sure the hairdresser understands what u want is to print off the pic and bring it when u get ur hair done. plz dont try to explain it it wont look right!

Say you want textured side-swept bangs, short and medium length choppy/razored layers on the top and long layers on the bottom.

well i'm not a scene kid but you can always take that photo and show it to the hairdresser and tell him/her that that's how you want your hair.
find the same picture in the front, side, and back views, print them out, then show them to the hair stylist........ and the hair style is just layered hair with extensions
Print out the picture and tell the stylist you want to look as stupid as the skank in the pic.
just print the pic and give it to the hair dresser that way it will be easier to understand
Just tell them you want A LOT of layers.
