Is package dye just as good as going to the hair dressers to dye your hair?

I want to dye my hair, shall I use a package from a shop or go to the hair dressers?Is package dye just as good as going to the hair dressers to dye your hair?
In all honesty from my experience cheap store bought items never work as well as going to a salon. If you have a trusted hair stylist go to them and be very specific about what you want. They have been trained how to dye professionally and know what products are best for you.Is package dye just as good as going to the hair dressers to dye your hair?
Kelly....ALWAYS go to a professional hairdresser. The products they use are a lot stronger and they have to analyze the condition of your hair before they start.


There is no comparison between grocery store hair products and professional beauty suppliers. The most you would ever get from a store is a temporary (around 4 to 6 weeks) change as opposed to professional products that are permanent.

I dyed my temporary black and it stayed in for months, but dying it blond is bad XD





Best go to a salon though because that way it'll look nicer and shinier :P
