either go to the a different hair dresser or like say to her while shes cutting your hair to like cut here and cut here and guide her maybe.

Fire your hairdresser and ask some of your friends for advice on a new place to go. I would say it would be a perfect time to go some where else if you've gone there several times and still they can't give you the cut that you want. That is typical the advice: bring a photo to your hairdresser so she has an idea of what you want.





In the hair stylist's defence, he/she feels like he/she should find a balance between giving you what you want and what he/she thinks will look best on you.





On the other hand, chances are you're bringing in a photo of a celebrity. That celebrity may have paid thou$ands for color/highlights, cut, and styling and used the best products available. The fact is, you're not going to get that for $35 at the mall.





I wanted side-swept bangs for a couple years and always had stylists talk me out of it. I went to a very experienced stylist and she finally gave me the bangs I wanted. She said the other stylists I went to probably didn't know how to do it. It cost me a fortune, but it was a fantastic hair cut.





I would suggest finding a new stylist, of course. Get referrals from friends who have the hair you want and try them all over a period of time. If you bring in a picture and the cut/style you receive is clearly not what you asked for, you have evidence in the photo. Negotiate: they give you what you asked for or you should receive a discount for the service or give a smaller tip (10% instead of 20-25%).
Definitely go to a new stylist. As bad as it sounds, you get what you pay for. I was spendingn $170 on mine for cut and color and it looked fabulous, then I lost my job and had to go elsewhere and pay $40 for cut and color and it looked horrible. Good luck friend.
go on you tube and lookup 'how to cut hair yourself'. and then grab some scissors and snip away, haha

They obviously can't cut to order, or they don't think the cut will suit your hair, you may need to consult another hairdresser and ask if the style you want is suitable for your face and hair. If you don't get what you desire try another until you find one you like and stick to that stylist.





I use to have a girl years ago and since she disappeared from the face of the earth ( so to speak ) I have not found anyone who could cut as well as her.
