Talk to your mom about how it is more than just what the stereotype brings. Explain to your mom the reasons why you'd like your haircut, and then tell her that if it doesn't work out for her you'd be willing to try and change it. When I first wanted to dye my hair, my mom was like...

';No! A respectable young man should never do that.'; And then I explained to her how comfortable it would make me and everything and she eventually let me :)





You just have to print out pictures, and if she is not 100% confident that she can do it then you need to search around. Also, get her to give you a hands on teaching of how to do it each morning when you get home :)I want to cut my hair like this how do i ask my hair dresser ?
Remember to bring loads of photos as even if you describe it in detail the hairdresser can still get it wrong. Try to get photos from all angles as this will help.

I'm getting my hair cut today. Bring lots of photos from different angles if you can. Be very descriptive when you want to get a hair cut.
Like the person above me said...Bring Lots And Lots of photos. The more the better. And be sure you'll be able to describe it to her thoroughly.
Bring photo, or, even better, bring lots of photos of the hairstyle you want. It will really help.
