What are some good tips for a hair dressers resume?

Resumes and cover letters are just lists and letters about your accomplishments and attributes that are applicable to the industry and position you're applying for, but they follow a very specific format. I would start by creating a long list of all your accomplishments in your certification and previous work as a hair dresser, and any othere relevant work you've done. Then do some research online on how to format your resume perfectly. Make sure it doesn't have any spelling or grammar errors!

Check out Microsoft Office Online's resume template resource here:

Here's a great cover letter resource as well:

Like any resume just list the places you have worked and the school where you trained. If you have no experience then list any classes you have taken to advance in color, perms, styling, updos, etc. List what you like to do the best in the salon, like colors or perms. List what product lines you have used and are familiar with.
