Since i am of African American decent, my hair is permed, but when you wash it its back to nappy but with less curl. I would try to wet sets. Basiclly your use plastic rollers or rods to curl hair.



Steps:

1) wash %26amp; conditions

2) while hair is still damp you roll your hair with a foaming wrap lotion, ex. motions, isoplus, any will do

3) I would use rollers that come with covers its easier.

Wash your hair, add mousse and set on rollers.

OR

Wash your hair, braid it and let it dry and take the braids out

OR

GET Wet and Wavy braid extensions or a weave, you have lots of options
i think u are going to need a culing iron any ways but try using curlers over night.

thats waht i do because my dad is black and my mom is white so my hair is like african american's.
Since your hair is permed your going to have to either use an iron, if your not one to deal with the heat. I would go with a rod set or a straw set. It will come out curly and can last for about 2 weeks.
