What do i tell the hair dresser when i want ';Scene Hair';?

I love scene hair, it makes someone stand out, be noticed.


I have Blonde almost brown hair w/ purple highlights and purple underneath my hair. And tomorrow im getting my hair cut and i want something different like scene hairWhat do i tell the hair dresser when i want ';Scene Hair';?
i actually have scene hair, i'll tell you what i first told my hairdresser when i wanted it, you want to keep your length, just trim the bottoms. get shorter layers at the top. get them cut with the razor/textureizor. tell her you like your hair more full at the top and thinned at the bottom. also i get angle added to my hair and ask for thick side wept bangs. when the hairdresser styles it it won't look too scene cause they dont rle style it like that lol. along with a scene cut you need to know how to style it. also it would help it bring in some pictures of what you want. it wouldn't be cool if they butchered your hair lol, good luck hope this helped =)What do i tell the hair dresser when i want ';Scene Hair';?
Show a picture of scene hair to your hairdresser the more pictures the merrier. If your hair dresser looks confused tell her its a 80's ish fomullet (that makes sense to them) Explain how you want more volume on the top and it to be thinner on the bottom! Tip: try to get a younger hair stylist!

find a couple styles you like and bring in pics


tell her any other ideas you have


the thing is that it's a broad topic so you can go any direction you want - and you shouldn't copy one exactly but find different things from a bunch and make it your own

the best thing to do is to to print out a picture of what you want and bring it to your stylist. It'll be much easier for them to get it right when you have something to show them.

Search on Google Image or another similar search engine site like that and search scene/emo hair. Find styles you like and then print them out. If you can't print them out you can try putting them on a cell phone if you have an USB cable for it.

It'd be best to find a picture online and take it into your stylist to show exactly what you want..otherwise your hair might look pretty craptastic.

ask for really choppy layers or the ';shag';
