I had died my hair black by accident, and i wanted to lighten it back to my natural colour..so i tried a nother dye which only made it darker, i used hair lightener today and its gone a horrible copper colour! and it feels soo dry, i already bought a medium brown hair dye to go over it but im too scared to put it on..can i dye it straight away?? i cnt go out with it in the state that its in and no cover ups would work....how long should i wait before i can dye over it FOR THE last time ever!!!!! :(HELP, need some advise from a profession hair dresser plz?
been doing hair for 9 years and seen plenty of your problems. i would suggest going to a salon so they can test the strength of your hair first before doing any more home colors. word of advice dont trust the box colors you really dont know what is in there. color does not lift color it only makes it darker. the lightner didnt work because you didnt have a dryer to sit under for it to fully process that is why u ended up orange/copper color.
