What do I say to my Hair Dresser if i want my hair to look like that? **(Pic Included!!)**?

I want my hair to look like that (without the color, cause i have dark brownish black hair) but i don't know how to tell my hair dresser how to do it. Giving her the picture only helps so much! And she tried it once with a picture, but it was uber gross...So help please!!!

Side-part, side-swept bangs, and lots of layers. That's a pretty easy cut to do, and I hate to say it, but if she's incapable of doing a cut like that, you should find a new hair stylist. :/





Oh! And make sure she's willing to razor or point-cut, for texture. If she isn't willing to do one of those (preferably razor-cutting, though make sure that your hair's soaked when she does it or it'll damage the shaft), she isn't going to be able to make the cut look right.What do I say to my Hair Dresser if i want my hair to look like that? **(Pic Included!!)**?
i wanted my hair like that first pic and it's really easy to ask for.


You just ask them if you could get long or short layers depending on your preference. Tell them you would also like choppy ends.


As for your fringe it is mostly the same way if you want it across you forhead and covering both of you eyes like mine or if you want it side swept. I find it help when i had my hair already parted for the section i wanted for mine. Just tell them you would like bangs and pick the area you want it to end [but pint a little longer for they usually spray your hair weighing down so it looks longer]. And they should ask you if you want it in the middle or to the side but if you don't show them before they start cutting.

tell her 'scene' hair.. she may know by just that. bring a pic in too but describe to her that you want lots of layers on top and eventually your hair thinning out on the bottom, keeping it longer, but NOT a mullet. and DO NOT get it cut with a razor.. your hair will curl out no matter how much you straighten it! good luck!

Pick the pictures which you think display the haircut you want the best, print them out and show them to your hairdresser. Your hairdresser will be able to understand more and get a picture in their head.
Sa you want choppy, razored layers, (make sure to metion how short ashleys are in that pic)


then choppy razor side swept bangs , with some thinning out at the bottom.
