a lot of people are very judgmental..i don't think that you would ';scare'; them at all, especially if you open up to them and show your personality and who you are on the inside. i would look at you as if you were just an ordinary person with a unique and creative mind, thinking you would be the same with hair.I am a 25 year old male fixing to get out of hair school i want to be a hair dresser i?
no not at all i think that being a hair dresser is perfect good luck
I don't think having tattoos in itself will scare people away but the content of the tattoos could. For example, if you have a tattoo of a bloody body part or an assault rifle, that might concern a client.





Since you'll be styling hair and not preparing tax returns, I think you'll be able to dress more creatively/casually for work.





When you interview, your perspective employer will check you out thoroughly and they'll know if their clientele will be ok with your appearance. On the other-hand, if my hair-stylist was talented, capable and gave me what I wanted, I wouldn't care much what they looked like.
It would scare me, but maybe if you wear long shirts and cover them up ppl can get a chance to know you before being shocked by all the tatoos. But just think, all the punk kids will trust you right away....maybe.
