I want scene hair, but what do i tell the hair dresser?

I absolutly love the whole scene hair. I dress scene, and my hair is growing out, bcuz i used to have short hair. i want to go get it cut, but i rly dont know wut to tell the hair stylist. like i know i want it layered int he back obviously and stuff. but what should i tell her exactly so she doesnt screw up my hair...???I want scene hair, but what do i tell the hair dresser?
I think by now most hairstylists should know what ';scene'; hair is. If I were you, I would show her a picture though. I have learned that explaining what you want, doesn't always work. My hairstylist always tells me that its much easier for her to know what I want by a picture. If you don't have any hair magazines, search for ';scene hair'; on google...there are tons of pictures you can print out for her.I want scene hair, but what do i tell the hair dresser?
Short layers on tops,layered sides,and if you want to have it shorter in the back or not...also,MAKE SURE THEY USE A RAZOR.Razors give the textured look to the hair,and create really GREAT layers.

Just explain the look of what you want in this way,and she will know,and taking in a picture wouldnt hurt either.
bring her a picture so that she has something to look of of and then she has a less chance of screwing up.

you could go to photobucket or emobucket to find a good picture.

and when you get your hair cut then you might have to tease it

What i do is i Google Emo or Secne Hair (there very alike)

then find a chick with hair that you like

print it out

bring it and they can do it for you.

and you might want to pic more then one hair style and bring them so they can help you pic the best one for your face type.
