I went to a new hair dresser about 4-5 months ago, I hadn't gotten my hair cut for a long time and forgot to tip. I didn't feel like going back and the cut was a lot shorter than I'd asked for so I didn't worry about it. I ended up liking it though, and want to go back. Will she remember that I didn't tip and do a bad job? Should I tell her ahead of time that I forgot to tip and that I'll tip double this time?Forgot to tip hair dresser, but want to go back. Should I tip extra, is this going to be awkward?
I wouldn't worry about it. It's been 4 - 5 months ago.
Just leave her a little extra this time.Forgot to tip hair dresser, but want to go back. Should I tip extra, is this going to be awkward?
just stop in the salon and say ';I didn't have money to tip when i came in before'; I didn't mean to stiff you...here it is..
or when you go in again tell her you forgot to tip her and then tip double.
(but I would do #1) it will make more of an impression on her... (which is good for next time)
No, don't sweat it out, it isn't a bit deal besides you mentioned that your haircut wasn't as expected so there wasn't really a need. Just tip her for the next visit (if you must) and leave it at that. You aren't obligated to tip anyway. It's sad what society has made us in to.
i would tip her double next time, and just let her know that it bypassed you, and you super aplogize. they're simpathetic since there are some that don't tip because of finical situations, and they love those customers just the same.
probably not.if she does say it:sorry i just was in a hurry and forgot to tip you.i麓ll do it this time! you ,know the kids, picking them up!!always running..or a white excuse/lie like that!
i hope you look gorgeous with the hair cut for this summer-wel always..
Yes to your last question. Tell her that you forgot to tip and that you will double it this time.
