My hair is not quite shoulder length and not real thin but not real thick and I have been thinking of getting a perm again. Right now if I get my hair wet and gel it it will kinda get curly but I want to get a perm just to boost the curls a little bit so they will stay all day. I want more of a beachy wave look though and not tight curls cuz I don't want to lose a lot of length off my hair since it's already kind of short. Is there a perm that will just give me beachy waves and if so how do I ask for it?What type of perm do I tell the hair dresser I want if I just want like the beach wave look?
a spiral perm, that is what I want as well but I am waiting for it to grow a little more
